Bank of Baroda has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 5000 Apprentice Posts under the Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended from time to time). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

Stipend: The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of ₹15,000/- per month during their engagement period of 01 (one) year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate in any Discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government.
Local Language Proficiency: The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State/UT, as mentioned below.
Local Language for Assam: Assamese Bengali and Bodo .
Age Limit: Age of the candidates must be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.05.2026.

Duration of Training: Duration of training is of one year.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

Selection Process
Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of following stages:

iii) Test of local language of the State

Test of Local Language
- The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State/UT, as mentioned below.
- The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be eligible to be engaged for apprenticeship.
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet having studied the specified opted local language of the State/UT will not be required to undergo the language test.
