Eligibility Criteria of SSC Selection Post Recruitment


Educational Qualification:
# Matric Level Posts: Class 10th or High School pass from any recognised board in India
# Intermediate Level Posts: 10+2 or passed Intermediate Exam from any recognised board in India
# Graduate-level Posts: Bachelor Degree in any field from any recognised University/Institution in India

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
 
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years

Selection Process


There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions, for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels. The details of subjects, marks and number of questions subject-wise will be as given below:-

# There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
 
# The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi and English only.

# Marks scored by the candidates in Computer Based Examination, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized by using the procedure published by the Commission vide Notice No: HQ-PP001/6/2024-PP dated 02.06.2025 and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

Skill Tests like Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test, etc., where prescribed in the Essential Qualification, will be conducted, which will be of a qualifying nature.
